XCMG Showcases Eight Pieces of Equipment at National Mine Rescue Skills Competition
Tempering the Light of Life, Forging Pioneer Strength. The 13th National Mine Rescue Skills Competition commenced on October 14 in Jining, Shandong Province. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the National Mine Safety Administration, and the People's Government of Shandong Province.
"China's current advancements in mine rescue equipment and technology, such as in automation and life detection, are advancements from which the world can learn," said Alex Gryska, Secretary-General of the International Mine Rescue Organization, who attended the competition upon invitation, in an interview with reporters.
The four-day competition featured 19 events across four categories: mine rescue, tunnel rescue, drilling, and drainage. An exhibition of advanced and applicable technologies and equipment for mine rescue was held concurrently. XCMG presented eight pieces of equipment, including deep-well drill rigs, inclined shaft drill rigs, and modular drill rigs, comprehensively demonstrating its integrated solution capabilities and practical application expertise in the field of emergency rescue.
• XCMG XSC1360 Truck-Mounted Drill Rig: Excelling in rapid mobilization and energy efficiency, it incorporates an intelligent IoT system for remote monitoring, providing precise support for rescue hole construction. XCMG's truck-mounted drill rigs have accumulated extensive practical experience through involvement in multiple major rescue operations, including the response to the Qixia gold mine explosion in Shandong.
• XCMG XSC1500 Truck-Mounted Drill Rig: A key outcome of national emergency rescue research and development initiatives, this rig is the preferred equipment for mine emergency rescue, coalbed methane extraction, and medium-to-deep geothermal energy development.
Currently, the XCMG XSL1000 Deep-Well Drill Rig, serving as the exclusive official drill rig for the drilling category of the 13th National Mine Rescue Skills Competition, is working in seamless coordination with the competing teams. It is demonstrating robust power and highly efficient operational capabilities in simulated rescue scenarios. With the competition nearing its conclusion, the results of the final contests will be announced tomorrow. We look forward to sharing the outcomes.
