The asphalt pavement "drone fleet" paving operation boasts high quality, efficiency, and enhanced safety. Compared to traditional methods, it improves construction efficiency by 25% while eliminating the need for operators to work in high-temperature environments.

At the Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge on the Xingang Expressway, XCMG deployed one independently developed paver and seven autonomous rollers, completing the 33.61-kilometer mainline paving task with exceptional efficiency. This intelligent construction system utilizes BeiDou high-precision positioning, big data centers, and other technologies to perceive construction demands, dynamically adjust key parameters like rolling passes, and achieve fully data-driven operations.

"By integrating BeiDou into the unmanned system, the smart construction management platform can display construction trajectories, rolling speed variations, paving speeds, and temperature data—ensuring better quality control throughout the process."

The Guiping Expressway—the first highway in Guizhou to successfully apply intelligent construction technology for pavement—will reduce travel time from Guiyang to Pingtang from 3 hours to just 1.5 hours upon completion. One paver and six autonomous rollers worked in coordinated compaction, enabling remote operation and round-the-clock construction. Faced with a 6cm paving thickness and a maximum paving width of 15.25m, XCMG's pavers ensured precision while the rollers delivered full-coverage compaction, significantly boosting efficiency.
