XCMG Invited to Attend the 8th China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Economic Forum
November 10 marked the conclusion of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE). As the first major home-ground economic diplomacy event held by China after the successful conclusion of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, this year's CIIE brought together 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, with participation from over 4,100 overseas enterprises, setting a new record in scale.
At the concurrently held 8th Hongqiao International Economic Forum, XCMG was invited to share its practical experience and insights on how Chinese enterprises are deeply engaged in global cooperation and driving industrial upgrading through technological innovation.
At the sub-forum "Intelligent Manufacturing Supports Chinese Modernization – Global Intelligent Manufacturing 2030: Co-creating the Future," Sun Jianzhong, Vice President of XCMG Machinery, shared XCMG's cutting-edge practices in intelligent manufacturing.
In the context of large-scale customization, the construction machinery industry is undergoing profound transformations in production and organizational models. By leveraging generative R&D, smart operations, and digital twin factories, XCMG has established a business system driven by artificial intelligence. "Intelligent manufacturing is transforming not only factories but also management logic. The future of manufacturing will be an industry powered by data and algorithms," stated Sun Jianzhong.

At the sub-forum "Corporate Open Cooperation Enhances the Resilience of Global Industrial and Supply Chains," Jiang Mingzhong, Vice President of XCMG Machinery, presented XCMG's strategies for enhancing supply chain resilience.
Against the backdrop of global industrial chain restructuring, the value proposition of Chinese enterprises expanding overseas is undergoing a fundamental evolution. XCMG offers a new approach for the manufacturing sector, where "resilience" entails not only strategic layout but also advancements in technology and mindset.
Jiang Mingzhong emphasized that Chinese enterprises are shifting from "scale advantages" to "value advantages." Customers now demand high-end, intelligent, green, and systematic full-lifecycle solutions rather than standalone equipment. Consequently, it is imperative to transition from an "engineer's mindset" to an "architect's mindset" for high-end development; evolve from "individual technological breakthroughs" to "comprehensive industrial chain solutions" for green initiatives; and advance from "single-machine intelligence" to "cluster intelligence" for smart technologies. These shifts will ultimately steer products towards higher reliability, energy efficiency, and intelligent control, contributing more efficient, greener, and smarter Chinese solutions to the world.
Maintaining an open approach and fostering innovation, XCMG continues to deepen global collaboration amidst industrial chain restructuring, strives to ride the crest of the intelligent manufacturing wave, and dedicates its efforts to serving national strategies and advancing global industrial progress.
