Highlights! XCMG's 100 pure electric unmanned mining trucks spark heated discussions
In May, XCMG's 100 pure electric unmanned mining trucks were put into operation on a large scale at Huanneng Yimin Open-pit Coal Mine.
This mining revolution driven by three cutting-edge technologies - 5G-A, intelligent battery swapping, and unmanned driving - has attracted the attention of mainstream media such as Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, CCTV, as well as financial media and various new media platforms, creating a phenomenon-level spread.
People's Daily reported: After more than four years of joint research and development, the innovation consortium, with unmanned driving, 5G-A communication, intelligent battery swapping, and intelligent safety control as the core technologies, studied the key technologies and applications of a zero-emission intelligent battery swapping unmanned transportation system in cold environments, and overcame key technical challenges such as pure electric drive, intelligent battery swapping, and multi-modal perception fusion in cold environments.
CCTV-13 News Channel's "News Live Room" focused its lens on the operation of China's first 100-unit pure electric unmanned mining truck cluster. The battery swapping time for each vehicle is less than 6 minutes, and it takes up to 1 hour to fully charge. In a fully charged state, it can carry 90 tons of cargo for about 60 kilometers.
Overseas, XCMG officially put into operation the world's first batch of 100% pure electric fully autonomous mining trucks at Huaneng Yimin Coal Mine. This mining revolution was conveyed to the world in multiple languages including English, Japanese, and Korean. More than 500 industry media outlets in the Pan-Asia-Pacific region reprinted the news, with the click rate exceeding 100,000. Currently, over a hundred unmanned pure electric mining trucks are running day and night on the mine, leaving a trail of steel to write a low-carbon future.
